About Beth Williams Purcell
Beth Williams Purcell has attended Texas Christian University since 2019. Her completed coursework includes topics in women’s history, American religion, feminist theory, early America, and twentieth-century United States.
This portfolio reflects Beth’s academic journey as a doctoral student in the TCU history department. It has been a treasured opportunity to develop as a scholar and study with world-class professors and like-minded students.
This portfolio is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Andrea Di Stefano (1978-2022).
Thank you, dear Andrea, for insisting that I could do this. I have kept you close as I read the literature, wrote many annotations, and designed my upcoming dissertation project. I hope we see one another again.
